I have 3 CRTs monitors to replace (one at the time), but if I find a good deal I might go for 2.

Thanks in advance

Sorry if it's the wrong forum, I though that video forum also cover monitors. Please tell me which forum should be, and I hope that the moderators will move it.

If you wanted a reccomendation for a display, this is the proper forum. IF, however, you want a good DEAL on a display, look in the hot deals forum. If you want to restate your DESIRE for a good deal on a display, go to the hot deals forum and post in the I WANNA thread. If you FIND a good deal on a display, go to the hot deals forum and start a new thread.

Hope that helps :)

I can't really help you since you haven't been too specific, but since you said you don't care too much about games, the response time isn't too much of a factor. Games (and movies) require low response times to keep up with the fast paced action. I myself just purchased a SONY SDM-HS94P/S which is a 19" monitor with a 12ms response time. 12ms is currently the lowest available (or so I understand). 16ms is good, and 20ms is acceptable. I don't think you want higher than 20ms for any application really. Also, another thing to keep in mind is the bit-level of the panels. Some are 18 bit vs. 24 bit (someone correct me if I'm getting off track here) and sacrafice color depth for faster response times. Any size/brightness/price considerations that you may have?
