I build two computers a couple of years ago for family members using CoolerMaster Elite 330 cases. They were on sale at the time, and insanely cheap. The computers are only used for web surfing and office documents, so they have Core 2 Duos, mATX motherboards, and integrated graphics; I don't think there are any expansion cards at all. The cases are a bit bulky and completely unnecessary for what they're housing, so I'm hoping to switch them to something smaller without breaking the bank.

Requirements:
- No more than $50 or so
- Takes a mATX motherboard
- Tower or cube style only, no desktops / HTPCs unless it's strong enough to hold a monitor on top of it
- Takes a regular ATX power supply, or comes with a GOOD SFX / proprietary unit

Thanks.

I'd assume you've already looked at it, but Antec NSK-3480 is about as small as you're going to get in a mATX form factor. The cases are tiny (which is a double-edged sword, the compactness is nice, but it also makes working inside the case more of a headache). It's also over your budget by about $50, but they do include a quality PSU.
