if you dont like refurbs, i say just get a Mitsubisihi DP930. i done some research before settling for my hp p930, and the mitsu got unanimous votes from most everyone in da know on... NF diamondtrons really rock 😀

i recently got a Hansol 920A, cost 150 shipped from amazon and is pretty nice, has sharp text. only bad thing is that it only goes up to 1280X1020 res at 75 Hz i think, which is fine for me.

Grab that $77 KDS-9B from Office Depot, as dcdomain suggested. Put the rest of your money in something else.

anyway, i posted some high rez pics on that HP monitor thread if you are interested 🙂

Well .. If he doesn't want to use 1600x1200 then It isn't too important, but I think most people with 19inch monitors run at 1600x1200 ... otherwise you are wasting valuable "screen real estate".

i think that covers crt monitors....
It most certainly does. Have you ever seen a thread in Video about monitors that was locked or moved (that is, not due to flaming or other bad conduct)? Didn't think so.

Calling everyone "tits" is most definitely interpreted as an insult (which is what the OP intended, I'm sure); however, it also gives us an excellent indication of the OP's mental capacity, which doesn't appear to exceed that of a homing pidgeon (certainly because the OP can't seem to "home in" on the correct forum in which to post his topic).

BTW, I'm using a Philips 109B2 that I got from Staples a year or so ago. It cost US$200 after rebates, does 1600x1200 at 75Hz, and is a decent monitor, but I'm sure you could find better if you wanted to pay more.

Get the Viewsonic P95f+. Amazing monitor IMO!! I have recommended it over and over again to people here at AnandTech. Absolutely amazing for the price!
