Looking for a full size gaming keyboard

What do you all suggest in the 60$ or less price range. I have read reviews and they are all over the place. I want a full size keyboard. I have a MS keyboard from 2001 that I have been pounding on for years and it still works but it is dirty and looks pretty dated. plus its not even USB.

$60 is kind of a weird spot for keyboards. The keyboards in that price range are mostly just $20 keyboards gussied up with "G4M3R!!" features. About $100 is where you get into the quality boards with mechanical keyswitches.

What I would recommend is to either get your basic $20 board like a Logitech K120 or save up a little more for a nice mechanical board like the Corsair K60.

do you have that corsair... I am mostly into FPS games BF3 etc.

I can spend 100. I thought 60 would get me out of the Junk range.

I loved my Merc Stealth KB

No, I have a Das Keyboard Professional Silent edition. It uses Cherry MX Brown switches which are optimized for typing versus the gaming-optimized Cherry MX Red switches in the Corsair K series.

For 60 bucks you should be able to find a Sidewinder X4 or X6 - they're not mechanical, but a lot better than most rubber domes.

The Corsairs are pretty good - I have the K90 - but they do have some annoying issues. The K60 doesn't have a full wrist rest or a backlight. The K90 has both and adds a few macro buttons. However, neither of them is 100% mechanical (macro keys, Esc, F1-12, Delete, End, PgUp/Down, etc. are rubber domes), and the Cherry MX Reds may surprise you since they require very little force to activate.
