I have a few family members that have recently gotten into attempting to try to create their own websites. So far they basically just tell me what they want on the pages and I creat them. Well this has been going on long enough and I actually found a free on-line app called "site studio" that worked pretty well. This thing has a bug where it loses your work for no reason and you then have to start over.

Anyway I am basically looking for something like a free version of 'front page'...it does not have to be powerfull at all...just the ability to be able to open up any html page and offer a WYSIWYG editor. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Nvu is an open-source HTML WYSIWYG editor. I haven't played with it much, but it looks promising. :)

Mozilla (full version, not Firefox/bird/weasel) has Composer and that's free.
