Looking for a FlexATX board

I need to get a FlexATX motherboard and CPU. I'm looking for a CPU that runs cool and uses very little power because I have to work with a 80W PS.

I don't see too many FlexATX out there. The only recent one I've seen in the Soyo K7VME. Can I pair this up with a Mobile Athlon Barton? Would that be a good choice? I am not at all familar with AMD CPUs.

The k7vme is a micro atx board. I would recommend the abit va-10 if your case will work with micro-atx boards. Abit has better tech support than soyo. I would use a duron 1.6 or 1.8 for low power requirements, or do a search, and upgrade your power supply. I use a sparkle model, and they are heavy and built to last. Mobile bartons (and any unlocked cpus) require a multiplier adjustment in the bios to manually set the speed. Most low end boards don't have this.

I tried two MicroATX boards (9.6" x 9.6") and they were about 1cm too long.

You are right about the K7VME. It is not FlexATX and, but it is 9" x 8", which is smaller than the standard MicroATX board. I did some measuring and it will fit in my case.

I forgot to mention I only need something about 1GHz so the Duron sounds like a nice idea.
