Posting the link is not a violation of the rules if you're looking for comment & critique, it's done quite often in fact.

Just trying to be safe. I really care about this forum, as I've learned so much from it, and I don't want to violate any rules. If you're interested, just PM me.

I've sent some PMs with the info, still looking for a few more people to give me their thoughts. By long standing member, I'm just kinda looking for people that have been here a while or have contributed to the forum a decent amount. Basically, people who know their stuff.

Thank you for posting this, purbeast0. Our coder made a mistake apparently, I will contact him tomorrow and get that fixed. Please try the site in FireFox

Looks good. In Firefox (Vista 64) I do not get the issue purbeast mentioned.

I assume you just have not put anything in the Privacy Policy area yet.

The FAQ just takes you back to the front page.

That's all I've got.

Yeah, some pages haven't been filled out yet so they're directing back to the home page. Got the info in a text file, just still editing it before I post it to the site. The gist of it will be that we don't share/rent/sell anybody's info to anyone. I know I've ended up receiving a bunch of spam before from signing up for a site's newsletter, and I'm certainly not going to do that kind of stuff to anybody that comes to my site.

As a well-respected and influential member, I would be happy to give my valuable advice.

Simple, clean, to the point, good. I like the transparent pop-out menus on the left. You may want to consider adding an option for sorting results, like sorting by price, name, list view, etc.

Pie,

I agree with you about the sorting, and we will implement that feature in the future. Its basically a matter of budget. We spent alot of money to order in bulk to be able to compete on price, so we had to delay some programming of features on the website. We WILL do this in the future, just so long as some of you guys start buying some stuffs ;)

As far as the transparent menus, they don't work like that in IE. IE wont let you anti-alias text on transparent/translucent menus, so the background is solid in IE.

Also, don't view this site in IE6, it looks like crap and we know it. We are very much for web advancement and we refuse to hack code for such an outdated browser. This is kind of our way of giving something back to website coders, as they all HATE IE6, and we really need to drop support for it in the enthusiast community, and every other community for that matter.

It's not bad. Are there going to be user product reviews? I view those as a must on websites like this nowadays.

We WILL implement that, its just a budget issue at the moment. We're not broke, its just that we're trying to reserve funds and dish them out to the most important things first, such as browser compatibility.

at first impression, the website design looks dated compared to some of the bigger e-tailers offering the same stuff. if i was just a casual shopper happening across the site, i would feel that its sketch and not that professional looking not only because of the layout but all the busy "save now!" "same day shipping!" "your credit card is safe!" banners and logos everywhere. it just doesnt look cohesive or professional.

Overall, I like it.

The one thing I would change is the horizontal navigation bar in the header. It's redundant, and adds clutter.
