I am in a quite isolated college, in the middle of nowhere.
I went around before but see no Driving School Ads or Poster signs.

so resorted to Yellow Pages, but all they have is phone numbers,
like 40 of them, while around 15-20 of them is within my area code. Should I call them up one by one, or there's a better, more efficient alternative.

meanwhile, what's the difference between White Page and Yellow Page
(btw, I tried Yellowpage online, it sucks, only 3 showed up)

What kind of driving school? DUI type school, driver's ed, high performance?

White pages = alphabetical list by business name
Yellow pages = sorted by business type with lots of ads in stuff

They'll generally contain the same info, just depends on how you want the info sorted.

Not sure where you are, but:

Skip Barber Racing School -- Link
Jim Russell (I went there) -- Link (under construction)

That's all I can think of right now...

Those two are some of the best in North America, highly rated througout the world.

oh no, not pro racing and nascar or NFS stuff,
just plain old "the Dumbie school of Driving for Ultra Dumbies"

so I should use Yellow Page instead huh?

and I never could imagine there are hi-performance racing schools...
you can't even racing legally rite?

Huh?

They offer regular driving lessons too.

Read the site.

If you are going to go to school, you might as well do it right.

I know that Sears has a driving school for dummies. They taught me to drive! Dunno if they have it in all areas though, I took the school in Maryland.

If you are learning to drive for the first time, then one of those cheapo places would be the way to go. If you are trying to improve your street driving and move it to a higher level, then you'll want some sort of high performance school. Check local car clubs, like the SCCA, or BMWCCA. Don't be intimidated by the BMWCCA, they generally accept anyone.

Yea, there are racing driving schools. People gotta get started somehow, huh?
