4 or 5 under $200? blah. don't get suckered by the megapixel stuff. find a canon a7x/a8x if you can, or even an a6x. But you'll need to remember cost of batteries, memory, spare batteries.... you get the drill. www.dpreview.com is a good site to look at.

Check out the Fuji Finepix A340 at Newegg, get the one with the dock, because it's only like $8 more and includes the AC ADapter and recharagable batteries. It was about $170, toss in a 128mb xD picturecard and you'd be set. It's 4mp, so you could do 8x10's easily. Bought one for my sister, it's nice and compact, I didn't play around with it too much though.

The Canon Poweshot A70/75/80 are very popular here, however I believe the a70/75 are discontinued and the a80 might be out of your price range. If you can get an a80 for under $200 new, I'd go with that over the a340. I got the a340 because I wanted to keep the camera+memory under $200 and it seems like that would have been difficult with the a80.

unless you plan on printing the pictures (you better have a good printer if you do) larger than 3x5 don't worry about the megapixels, even on my 21" monitor a 1.3 megapixel photo at full screen looks about the same as a higher resolution picutre.

If you're not a photographer just get the most basic camera, most of them are bloated (IMO) with features that don't work or are too cumbersome to actually be useful.
