I was looking at the Cooler Master Jet 7 today, I know it's not a great cooler. But I like how it looks, and honestly for my needs I don't need extreme results, just decent cooling (which it has)

Anyone know of any other Heatsinks that stand out visually? I'm wanting to rebuild my pc and have it as different as possible.

which leads me to my 2nd question. I'm going to buy a Wave Master case, Cooler Master has a side panel for it, but it's very plain. The case is far too expensive for me to be screwing up with my Dremel. Anyone know of a shop in the Inland Empire/Orange County area that does custom panel mods? I don't want anything fancy, but I also don't want to f#ck up a 150 dollar case, which I would on my own 🙂

Hard to believe that you're gonna invest $150 in a case that doesn't have exactly what you want. Well, I take that back, I bought mine last year for $99 and it's not everything I want so I guess I know exactly what you are going through!
 
I've got an all new customized Fanner WhisperRock II heatsink with a chrome-plated 80mm fan and a "Contact" pattern finger guard - big (I tether mine to the bottom of the PSU to take some of the load off the CPU socket), gaudy, quiet and cools well. You can have it for $15. + shipping.

I have come to realize after a lifetime of being on computers. You NEVER find exactly what you want. I think the WaveMaster is a very stunning case, and with a little additional work it could be perfect. My only other option is to buy some steel, and buy some aluminum and build my own case from scratch. But for some reason I feel the outcome would be horrible hehehe.
