I'm trying to find a supplier that has Polycom Video Interconnect devices (or similiar) in stock. They allow a Polycom Soundstation EX to be used as a speaker/microphone with a PC/video camera conferencing system. This particular device hasn't been made in several years, but I'm hoping that someone still has them in stock or knows of a device that does the same.

It functions as a passthru on the phone line and has 3.5mm line in/out to go to/from the PC. This allows you use the microphones and speaker of the Soundstation with a PC.

Although Polycom shows them in stock, the representative I talked to said they haven't had them in stock for several years and the listing on their webpage should have been removed long ago.

Here is a picture showing how the box is installed in a video conferencing system.

We are trying to cut down on travel costs through the use of video conferencing and being able to reuse our existing Polycom EX's in the various offices would be a further way to reduce overall costs.

So if someone happens across a site that has them or knows of a device that is easily available that does the same thing, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks!
