Looking for a decent L-shaped desk

I just bought a house, and would like to get a decent affordable l-shaped computer desk to stick in my office. My primary requirement is that if the lengths aren't equal, that it have a right-return. IKEA is not an option. I'd like to stay at or below $200 but would be willing to go up a little bit in price for the right desk. So far, I've checked the websites for Office Max, Office Depot, Best Buy, Staples, Target, & WalMart. Of those, there were a couple that I found that I would consider somewhat acceptable:

1. http://www.officemax.com/max/solutions/product/prodBloc...dBlockOID=1611325710
(If the link above doesn't work)
http://www.officemax.com
Item #21021699

2. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp...ctCategoryId=cat07001&id=1134701147263

However, I'm not a fan of the placement of the cubby for the computer in the OMax desk and the Best Buy desk has an open back, which would make hiding cables a bit difficult.

Richard Berg posted a picture of his old desk in a different thread on ARS that he said he got from staples, that would be nearly ideal for me.

However, I couldn't find it online.

EDIT - Removed a link to a hutch at walmart.

The link to the one from Walmart is just for the hutch. The desk is priced at $343.56.

That explains that then. The best buy desk has now become the front runner.

I would see if any businesses are going out of business or moving in your area. Many offices use L shaped desks, so you may get one cheap.

I have #20326657 from OfficeMax (link doesn't work here). I put it together backwards from what the pic shows, to get the desktop shelf on the left side. It works very well.

What is the depth of the desktop? They don't seem to have the dimension I am wondering about listed in the pics. Here is a pic I modified to show the dimension I am asking about:

Is that what it was referring to? I didn't see a line denoting what dimension the number was referring to.

If you really want an L-shaped desk that isnt too expensive, I'd look at an IKEA Galante desk.

not necessarily. I bought a particleboard L shaped desk from staples in college cuz i was on a budget. It's going 4 years and counting now. took it apart and put it back together twice for two moves. 2 of those years it held up a 80lbs 21" CRT monitor.
