Looking for a deal on DJ Equpiment

Was looking to buy some DJ equpiment....most likely 2 CD turntables with a mixer board....nothing really fancy, but not total crap either. Anyone know of good models or anyone I can contact for a good deal? Any info would help! Thanks in advance! =D

I'd recommend knowing what youre doing first. Figure out how serious you are about it first. If you want to just play around and not really use them, get some crappy bundle. If not , do the opposite and get a pieced together setup. I would suggest demo-ing a couple of setups and the largest music store near you. I used to have a technics setup which was great for what i was doing. There are lots of stores out there though.

Definately demo local , write down model numbers etc.. then hit ebay or what not. There are plenty of flops looking to load off their nice equipment. Also check craigslist out. Are you looking to output to headphones or a PA? What is your budget and what do you plan to do exactly?

Aside from being a horrible\y packed store 24/7 to the point where you cant move, they have good prices, quality and service.

not totally sure how serious I am....I love the music, and would love to mix my own sets....a starter kit would be sweet, and id prolly use headphones at first, then if i decided to do a small show or whatever, I can get some speakers and what not
