looking for a cordless phone suggestions?

Anyone have any suggestions on a cordless phone that i can use near my computer that is cheap? I dont need to use the phone a lot. Just looking for a cordless phone near my computer without it interfering/becoming very staticy. I looked at some DECT 6.0 but found them to be more expensive than I want to spend. I do know that I will be purchasing the phone from amazon (i have prime shipping). Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

Do you have other 2.4GHz devices in your home? Wifi and microwaves can interfere with 2.4GHz phones. You said the DECT 6.0 was too expensive for you. How much do you want to spend then? Answering machine? Speakerphone? Headset?

i do have wifi and a microwaves...i dont need a headset or answering machine or speakerphone.. im looking to spend around 40ish

Spend the money on a DECT phone or you will kick yourself when you all sorts of interference problems. Really, another $20 will make your life much easier.
