Looking for a compact flash/hdd thingy

On my last trip to India, my compact flash card in my dslr unfortunately died on me. I ended up losing a lot of pictures of family.

I was wondering if there was a device that's like a mini hard drive (passport type) that has a compact flash or any other type of memory card interface that you can plug the card into and dump the contents of the card onto the hdd?

I dunno if that makes sense because the other alternative is carrying my laptop with me and a memory card reader.

Oooooh I might get that. Any idea if theres any option that'll let you plug it into a wall socket and press a button to dump the contents?
 
I dunno. I can't read the writing around the buttons. Looks like one says "On - Off", but I can't read the other.

That unit doesn't come with the external 110V PS, you'll have to get your own.

I know I've seen one other of these units, but I can't find it.
