I used to use riverpast video slice, but to be honest I thought it was a piece of shit. So one day, not to my surprise, it stopped working and would exit with a vague error about codecs whenever I would try to encode. Reinstalling it and reinstalling all my codecs doesn't fix the problem so I figured fuck it. You guys probably use something better.
MKV support would be really nice. The only format riverpast could output to without looking unacceptably revolting was WMV, which was an irritation. I just want a simple GUI with a slider so that I can select the source of the video that I want to export/encode to another video file. Any suggestions?
