I'm looking for a chess partner, or two, or five, or seven. Heck, any one one would be prime ;)

www.postcardchess.com is the service I'm looking to play through.

I want to play a game now, but I'd also like to get someone(s) to play over the coming weeks/months.

Any takers ?

edit: I have yet to win against the computer....its tough.

You do realize you can change the level the computer plays at, don't you? I think by default it starts out at level 5. Try changing it to level 1 or 2.

Incidentally, (since this thread will get the chess people in here), anyone have any clue at about what USCF rating the computer plays at on each level? I haven't played much in years and have been "warming up" with Chess Titan. I was 30-2-6 on level 5. Both losses being due to idiotic things (you know, you're annihilating an opponent and are concentrating on how many moves until you put them in check mate, and suddenly you have one of those "wtf did that come from" moments.)

edit: Just barely squeeked out a win on level 7; that seems to be about where I'm at. Incidentally, all 6 of those ties were the result of blunders - computer sacrifices his next to last piece, and without hesitation, I grab it, leaving no moves for the computer. (Playing too quickly)
