Looking for a cheaper Sub for HT system. Open Box Polk PSW111 for $150?

Hey guys,

Just looking for some quick advice. I've been looking around for a cheaper sub for an entry-level HT setup. Looking to spend between 100-150. At my local Best Buy, they have an open box Polk PSW111 for $150, which is substantially lower than the retail price.

My question is, is this a good bargain, or is there a better sub for the price?

i just ordered an ASW-10 from the speaker company. I should be receiving it later this week. I'll post impressions when i get it set up.

set up my asw-10 yesterday. it sounds awesome on both music and movies...all for $150 shipped. vs. the same price for the polk, i'd recommend the tsc sub. it hits lower as well.

how big is your room btw?
