Looking for a cheap but good quality DVD player

My DVd player gave up the ghost recently. I bought a cheap ($30) but good brand name (Phillips) player as a replacement, but it is a POS. It hangs up or skips on just about every other DVD I put in it.

Any suggestions for a low cost basic DVD player for a home theater? I just want one that works decently. I care far more about audio than video.

The Toshiba sd4000 and similar can be had pretty cheap, plays divx, and generally works quite well. I think I paid $20 refurbished for mine; no complaints at all.

Toshiba HD DVD player (HD-A2/A3). Good upconversion and ability to play cheap HD DVD discs
