Looking for A+ certification in Atlanta, any recomendations

Hey,

Can anyone help me out here. I am looking to attend certification classes here in Atlanta, but there are so many options I am not sure wat facilities are good and which aren't. I am thinking about new Horizons, but they are a bit expensive. Are they worth the ~$300 extra.

Any advice is appreciated.

New Horizons seems to be a top notch place. I visited AmeriTrain with a friend who was looking for MCSE classes. I wasn't too impressed with the interviewing people. If they are any indication of the trainers, I'd steer clear.

Can't you just read the book for A+ certification?

I talked to the AmeriTrain people on the phone and they were very pushy about getting me started right away, blah, blah, blah. It was the closest I've come to hanging up on someone recently.

Right now I'm studying on my own to take the A+ exam. I think I can pass it without taking any classes after reading a book and taking a practice exam.

I'm sure I could do it one my own, except I (after just graduating from college)am a bit too dependant on learning in a class room environment. Plus I would feel more confortable that I was studing the right things, in the correct manor.

I will do much on my own, but I want to do this in the best way possible
