Im looking for a case and i was originally conisdering the P180, but it just doesnt fit in my budget ($70 or less). So i found the Centurion 5, how is this for noise dampening, how are the case fans and the overall cooling in this case?

CPU- Waiting for the AM2 AMD X2 3600s to start rolling out
Gpu- 7600gt KO from evga
HD- Western Digital Cavier 7.2k 80g
MB-DFI Infinity Ultra2-M2 socket AM2
Psu- Fortron 450w
Ram-OCZ DDR2 800 1gig
Miscellaneous-Linksys wireless adapter

I will be overclocking this.

I've been using the Centurion5 for almost a year now and it's hard to beat for a $50 case.

The included CM case fans are decent, but for ultimate cooling, I'd recommend replacing them with higher CFM fans. It's also possible to fit a 92mm fan in the front intake instead of a 80mm (I've done it).

[Edit] Nate's 534 recommendation is a good one.

The orgional Centurion 5 Has a 80mm fan intake, the 534 has a 120mm intake.

But the 534 has no out-take?

Any problem with dust collection on the front mesh on the cent 5?

read the customer reviews of the 534:

I ordered the Centurion 534, but to my surprise received the Centurion 534 ?Plus?. Apparently this model has been updated and is slightly different than described here. Here is the list of differences: 1) The lower side vent is no longer mesh, it is stamped fins (it looks like gills-> [[[[[[ ) that are directed towards the rear. 2) You do NOT get a blue LED 120mm fan in the front. Instead, they have added blue LED?s inside the grilles on each side so the lighting effect is more pronounced. 3) You get TWO 120mm fans (non-LED). One is on the rear and the other is on the new lower side vent. The front intake does not have a fan but you can add one for a total of THREE 120mm fans.
Worst case scenario you have to pick up a couple YATE LOON D12SL-12

centurion 5 is older design to 534 but both are good. throw the noisy front fan out and replace the 120mm exhaust. fit new 80-92mm at the front and new 120mm at the back. theres room for another 120mm in the 5" drive bays as well. ideally cut a 120mm blowhole in the top for hot air to escape to fit a 120mm exhaust fan. remove the dust filters for better aircooling. bore out 2x120mm holes in the side panel to blow down on the motherboard, on your northbridge, ram especially, the existing side hole use a exhaust fan to blow out the hot air from the cpu and graphics.

I bought a Centurion 5 last April, and only changed the intake fan from an 80 to a 92. I keep a soft brush to dust off the metal mesh every couple of days. I found the ventilation was fine for an A64 3700 (basically stock speed), under a Gigabyte G-Power Cooler, with 1024 MBs of RAM, and an X800 XT-PE video card. It is very quiet. But my next Centurion will be either the 531 or 534. Costs more, true, but I want slightly more room for "stuff" this time.
