That's funny, I thought the post title was just misspelled**
Personally, I've only ever bought three cases for my own builds** The original Antec P-180, Antec 300 and my current Silverstone FT-02** All three cases were perfect for what I was doing at the time and I cannot condemn them, sorry**
I bought some super-cheap no-name case for my first build back in... oh, like, 2000 maybe?
I don't recall exactly what I hated about it, only that there was bleeding involved and I replaced it quickly** Possibly rattle/noise issues as well - somewhere along the line, the case I bought as a replacement got the full Dynamat treatment**
Since then, I've only had two cases (InWin S500 and my current one), both of which were quite adequate, no complaints.
Any case that uses proprietary hardware so that, for example, their PSU guide rails won't even ALLOW other PSUs to be installed. I'm looking at you, Dell and HP.
Had dreams of modding it, adding a small fridge unit... ended up lugging the gigantic thing around half of America going to big LAN party events. The best was UVA LAN (2?) in WV... had to put our cases on the tables (so many wires on ground)... I had one of the world trade centers on my table.
i had an inwin case from the mid 90s before any attempt was made at user friendly cases. it had one of those big U-shaped sheet metal exteriors that was a pain to put back on right. i suppose the build quality was ok, though. worst build quality is probably a cheap ultra-branded antec/chieftec dragon style case.
