Looking for a camera equivalent of a Galaxy S6

I am completely satisfied with the camera quality of my Galaxy S6, but I need something with expandable memory and removable batteries that I can securely mount on a tripod if necessary.

-at least 1080p video
-wide angle for selfies with two people + background
-flip LCD screen for selfies
-takes SD memory card

-zoom not important
-no need for interchangeable lenses
-external mic connection a plus

I have a Canon HF R50 camcorder, but the video quality isn't as good and the lens is not wide enough.

What is your budget?
The Panasonic FZ1000 is good for video. Has 10809P and 4K video.
Wide angle is 25mm.
Articulating screen.
External mic connection.
Good 16x Leica zoomlens.

The investment into phone camera technology by phone manufacturers has made most compact cameras a marginal upgrade over phones. Camera manufacturers have been battling this by putting much larger sensors into their cameras as well as improving the lenses paired with these sensors to have big apertures. However, both of these moves come at a cost.

Pay attention to the max aperture that the camera is capable of if you want satisfying results in indoors or night conditions without direct sunlight. You Galaxy S6 has a f/1.9 aperture and newer phones have f/1.7 all for better low light photos.

The Sony RX100 is the best and most popular - even the first version (which is still available new) is awesome compared to a phone. The Canon G7X, Nikon DL, and Panasonic LX100 are the other manufacturer's competitors for the RX100, and you'll likely be satisfied by all of them.

A couple other interesting options would be the Ricoh GR and Fuji X100S or X100T. These have fixed focal length lenses similar to your phone, beautiful lenses, and amazing sensors, but neither have articulating screens.
