I'm looking for a 3.5mm FM-M stereo cable- I need it as I am fairly brutal on my earbuds and I destroy the small section around the plug on every pair I have ever bought. I've tried earbuds from all sorts of manufacturers and always the same result, so thinking I'll just buy a half dozen or so ~6" cables, if I can find them, and a set of lower end (~$100 ish) earbuds to see if it works. Ideal solution wouldn't introduce line noise(or minimize it) and I don't need a 4 pole solution(the only type I've found at all in the 6" range are Y adapters for 3 pole to 4 pole).
