Looking for a bicycle

I am looking for a montian type bike for under $300 with shipping and pre built if online.

But you can give me the names so I can go to my local bicycle store and look at it.

Dahon Espresso 20 inch Folding Bicycle $329.93

The Espresso is the bike for urban adventures: to the park on a sunny weekend; down the street for a lazy Sunday brunch; or to nearby shops for some quick errands. The wide ergonomic saddle, the suspension seat post, and the upright riding geometry make cruising around town fun and comfortable. Even better, the Espresso folds in seconds to stash away easily in a car trunk, your apartment, or even on the bus. An excellent, economically-priced, full-size portable bike.

You are not going to find a good bike with both front and rear suspension (unless it is a wal-mart bike, again, not good) at that price. I would suggest sticking with a hardtail Trek, GF, or Specialized bike. Ask if they have any last year or used models. Most everyone at a local bike shop are willing to help fit you to a bike that you will enjoy, instead of making a profit. Go visit your bike shop and ride a few around the parking lot. You might find the bike you thought you wanted is the one you dislike the most.

Trick I learned is to call around and ask for last years model. I actually bought a new 2002 model last year for $200 that was going for $350 for the current 2005 model. The only difference was the seat (they swapped it for me anyways) and it had one less gear.
