Looking for a basic 27" TV - need suggestions

I've been trying to compare inexpensive TVs and have had no luck. Haven't had to buy one in many, many years so I'm clueless. I'm not a big TV watcher, so I don't need the latest, greatest, features. However, I don't want to have to replace whatever I purchase for a long time. My TV stand is 26" wide, so limited to a TV size of 27". I have a TV-out card in my PC, so I know I want something that will support S-video. I thought the Apex 27" PF2725 at WalMart.com looked like a good deal, but my Walmart did not carry it. I found it here at Amazon for $349.99 with no shipping. However, now I'm a little leary of buying a no name brand. Any Suggetions? I live in a rural area and have limited stores around.

It's a rebadged Samsung. AWESOME television.

My roomates and I got the flat screen Apex 27" and so far its been a great TV. We got it for 350 from best buy

Get a JVC. It will cost you about $270-300 at BestBuy.

I got the Akai many months back from Sam's Club i believe it was 279 back then.. GREAT TV.. high reccomeneeddedededed!!!!
