I have a friend heading away to college that's looking for a barebone computer. From my understand, a barebone system is just something that's just a (filled) tower itself -- it's lacking a monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc...
Am I wrong? Some of the barebone systems I saw on Newegg seemed to have virtually nothing aside from the case and the motherboard.
Maybe a pre-built, accessory-less computer is what I'm looking for?
In any event, can someone direct me to a good site that would have affordable systems of that nature (eg: no monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc)? I'm thinking a basic duo-core system with a big hard drive for her music. She's definitely not going to game or anything.
