What would you consider a good transfer speed? Are you intending to use it as a sort of NAS, a media server or just some specialized storage?

The Linksys WRT1900AC does pretty well according to this benchmark (scroll down to USB 3.0 results).

I have the WRT1900AC and can confirm it has more than adequate USB 3 speeds.

Unless a firmware update has improved USB 3.0 performance significantly, the RT-AC68U is 1/3rd the speed of the WRT1900AC.
