I'm Looking For A 15inch Laptop With Win7, i7, good GPU, an optical drive, BR or Lite Scribe is not required.

Anti glare screen, 1TB 7400 RPM HDD would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Thanks

I have programs that are not Win8 compatible and I am not Win8 compatible.

If you're looking for a laptop with Win 7 that isn't otherwise outdated, your best bet is one of the boutiques like XoticPC. Be careful when configuring, because by default they often have no OS, you have to add Win 7 or Win 8 as an option.

For example, you might want a Sager NP7352. 15.6", 1920 x 1080 matte screen, GT 765M, i7-4700MQ, 8 GB memory, basic DVD drive is $1,114 when you include Win 7 home premium.

If I may make a suggestion, spend an extra $160 and get a 128 GB SSD in the mSata slot, or better yet $230 to get a 256 GB SSD. The improvement in performance is enormous, and you still have bulk data storage on the hard disk.

I just recieved my sagar today(i did go with win8). My wife wanted a laptop so I took it as an excuse to get a on the road gaming machine. I7 4700mq, 16gb ram, amd 8970m for 1550 shipped. Did not add an ssd since its not my primary computer. My only complaint is that it is a bit bulky, but its not suppossed to be an ultrabook anyway.

I was impressed at how well it ran metro last light on pretty high settings at 1080p.
