Looking for a 12-14 inch laptop for basic home use

Hello friends,

Happy holidays. I have a quick question. I am looking for a 12-13 inch laptop for general home use:

1) Internet browsing

2) Some youtube/Netflix

3) Basic MS office, nothing requiring heavy processing

4) No gaming

5) Maybe some multimedia e.g. a movie

I would prefer a smaller screen size, as I already have a full sized laptop.

I saw a deal for a brand new Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12 Ultrabook -Intel Core i3-5005U-4GB RAM-500GB HDD-Win8Pro for $469.01

1) Is this a good deal

2) Is this model suitable for my needs or is it under/over specs?

Thank you,

Great price. i3, light, and great battery life. Just to be captain obvious, no DVD drive for movies, but in today's day and age, we have so many other ways to watch movies that is hardly a negative. I have had a few Lenovos over the years and they are good products.

Just curious, have you read reviews?

I would probably try and find a Dell e7450 or e5450/e5550 laptop with 1080p IPS display. They are good, with good warranty, good build quality, and so on. I know you can find such for under $500, because I already bought two e7450 for such a price. If you are quick and patient, you'll even get an SSD included
