I'm looking to order a 939 motherboard this week for use with an FX-53. Not going to be OC'ing or anything like that. However, I will be running a SATA RAID-0 configuration, with 1 large IDE drive for storage.
Also, I did have a another question. I see many boards with only three DIMM slots. Why do they do they do that if Dual Channel has to be run in pairs? To that end, I'd be looking for a motherboard with 4 DIMM slots. So far, I've picked the ASUS "A8V Deluxe Wi-Fi" K8T800. It is in stock at newegg. Any thoughts on this board?
Again, looking to order this week, so preferably suggestions for something that I have at least a fair shot of it being in stock.
