Hey guys, I currently have a WD Black 4TB as a pesudo storage/game drive, but with it filling up, I'm looking to put the media files and downloads onto more of a 'storage' drive. It's been awhile since I've looked at HDDs and the current two I'm looking at are the:

HGST Desktar NAS 6TB: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822146118
and
WD 6TB Red: http://www.ncix.com/detail/western-digital-wd60efrx-6tb-red-22-99935.htm?promoid=1653

I was wondering if anyone had any other advice or recommendations. I'm in Canada and primarily use ncix, newegg, or canadacomputers, and I'm looking to store mostly media files on it.

Thanks in advance!

Can't really go wrong with HGST, it is frequently one of the best for reliable HDs.

Ah sorry, didn't catch that. I don't think you could go wrong with either drive, I'd probably just go with the cheapest of the 2.
