Looking for 46-50" LED TV

I have just been keeping my eyes open for a new LED TV, under $1000, preferably under $800 if possible, between 46-50".

I just noticed this Panasonic 47" 240Hz for $999: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00752R9Q4

Not really interested in 3D just a quality high refresh screen with 3-4 HDMI inputs really to mount on my wall above my fireplace. Also want Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube which this has.

Seems this is a great buy considering it normally costs $1500+, but my concern is with comments about black levels, both due to inconsistent backlighting as well as more gray than black. I'm not overly particular about slightly gray black, if I want that I'll go plasma, but I don't want it to actually look gray. But worse inconsistent backlighting would be my biggest peeve. Do you think these are just a few bad TV's or it's consistent across all this TV line?

There's also an LG that seems quite popular: http://www.amazon.com/LG-47LM6700-47...cmu_pg__header

and a Samsung: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-UN46ES...pr_product_top

I really wasn't ready to buy just yet but if the Panasonic is a "must buy" I'll make the commitment since the deal is only valid today.

Thanks.

TV is something I always buy local.

Costco or Best buy (when they have deals) are best places (I found).

Costco is best for extended warranty ($40-50 for TVs under 1000) IF that

Best Buy warranty is expensive, but they do have 36 month 0% financing

I'm not a member of Costco and don't see any great deals on TV's I'd like at least on their website.

DO you know anyone that is a member? Costco doesn't list all the TVs on their site and usually it's totally different in the store anyways.

Here is some Best BUy deals I found
