Looking for 37-42 inch TV

Of course you'll need a transformer for the power, and most TVs sold in the states don't accept PAL 50 signals, so you'd need an external scaler to convert such signals to what an NTSC TV can accept. Also, you'll need an external tuner if you want to be able to receive European broadcasts since the tuners in TVs in the states are designed to handle NTSC brodcasts rather than PAL. In other words, after shiping you'll likely have an uphill battle to save money on the deal.

As for TV suggestions, It's hard to exactly say without knowing your particular needs, but if you are willing to take a hit on resolution I recommend checking out plasmas which you can get much better over all image quality out of for the same price, as well as DLPs, and also lower resolution but higher over all LCDs as well. However, if you are insistent on 1080p display, then a Westinghouse a is probably the best deal you'll find for the price.
