Looking for 18+ Casinos

Are there any casinos here in the U.S. where you can play if you are 18. I don't really get the 21 rule. At 18 you are a legal adult, should be able to spend your money. Does it have to do w. alcohol? Anyway, are the only places to go if you are 18 and want to gamble a bit in Montreal?

all the casinos in oklahoma you only have to be 18...but they're not really casinos...electronic bingo with spinning cherries to make the rednecks feel like they're in vegas....
 
alcohol = more money and people gambling a little bit looser, so 21+ is the more popular choice.

here in sd, there are a few 18+ casino's (viejas i believe)

Yeah I know, PokerRoom or whatever. But I'm not that good so I would just want to go for a one time thing to a Casino for fun. It's not the same as online.
 
Anyone else find it just weird that in most states people arent allowed to play Bingo if under 18 yrs of age?
that just strikes me as.... a big invasion of rights
 
Cache Creek in northern california used to cater to the 18+ crowd until they spent a lot of money and actually made it a decent Casino. Now its a hotel/resort and you have to be 21. This occured less than a year ago
 
Harrah's in Cherokee North Carolina is 18+. No alcohol or live dealers. All video machines (but still all the games except craps).

I believe Harrah's in New Orleans is 18+ as well. I believe the others in NO are 18+. Not real sure about that.
 
The indian casinos are usually 18+. Also you could try going to Canada if you are close to the border. I know in Niagara Falls there are some nice casinos that are 19+
 
Drive down to mexico. You don't even have to gamble, they'll gladly take away your money, after they knock you out.
 
wow. i was a week away from turning 21 when i was in vegas, and since i look 16, i got yelled at by some manager dude. 🙁

meanwhile, i was the oldest of my 6 friends, but i looked the youngest... so they never got caught gambling.
