Looking at used cars and I found this uh, gem?

I had to do a doubletake when I saw the AMG badge & Mercedes emblem. I know damn well Benz didn't offer a Smart Car with an AMG package, but it peaked my curiousity as to wether the owner just slapped a badge on it. Or if they actually did some performance upgrades. I've seen a few modded Smart Cars that had been turned into death rockets. I emailed the dealer to see what other info they had.

An upgraded Smartcar would be kinda fun to drive around in. The AMG badge is really damn ghetto though.

Should have been an EV. As long as it had 100-150 mile range, it would do what nearly any owner of one does with them anyway. It was a little early for that though.

A Nissan Micra is a better choice than the Smart.

At the end of its life, it was an EV - but with closer to 50 miles of range.
And they did put Brabus branding on the for-4.

Now it's just another Chinese EV with the Smart brand.

Fun fact: My office is the site of the old Smart R&D center. Pretty depressing place to be.
