Looking at the pictures, do you think it would be...

They're the same length as a 8800GTX I believe... just with the dual cooler going all the way to the end of the PCB. *I'm NOT POSITIVE THOUGH*

If it's a large as you think, do you suggest that I get something else than a Antec 900? I haven't made my rig yet, so I could just get something else, no problemo.

To be 100% honest with you I haven't been a big fan of the nine hundred for the word go. I think there are better, more viable options for the same ammount of money. I think the nine hundred is more of a novelty item that a really great cooling solution.

I do believe the 9800GX2 could be longer than a GTX but, I doubt we're getting back into video cards longer than motherboards. As long as there is nothing hanging over the motherboard it should fit just fine. I wouldn't bet on putting a hard drive in the front bay just next to it though.

If thats the kinda thing that makes you randy I say go for it. I'm a BIG fan of CoolerMaster, Lian LI, Tuniq, Silverstone and certain antec cases(182). I will rarely deviate from those brands for 2 reasons, I can order them knowing exactly what I'm getting and they can cover pretty much any of my needs between them.

With a budget of about $100 you should look at the Lian Li pc-7b plus 2, The stacker evo 830(it's on sale), and the antec 182(amir).

I have an Antec 900 with a HIS X1959 Pro in it. I've just measured the gap between the tail end of the graphics card and the first obstruction at the rear of the HDD cages. There's about 45mm to play with (and that's to the back of my deepest-reaching optical drive).

As for cooling in the Antec 900 - I can't fault it. There's lots of possible configurations and, with a fan controller, you can go from quiet idle (for web-surfing) to an impersonation of the Red Arrows in a tunnel (for those much more demanding applications). :)

I wasn't saying there is anything particularly wrong with it. I was saying that there are much better cases for the same or simliar money. I would not personally use one, ever.
