Looking at new sound cards...any suggestions?

I've been out of the loop on sound cards for a while and I'd like a few suggestions for a new one.
I do a good bit of gaming, I edit sound files, write music, use MP3's and internet telephony, and my old card just can't quite hack it anymore.
Any suggestions?
 
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz if you want a good game and mp3 sound. It is way better than SB Live.

I recently convert my SB Live to St. Cruz and the sound quality difference was a lot.

(edit) you might also want to search for other threads, and read what other people said about st. cruz , it has been discussed plenty of times. (/edit)
