hello I'm looking at posibly geting Comcast High speed internet that is availible in our area to us. Anyways what I would like to do is use my ipcop(linux based) router/firewall to share the net over the network by having the cable modem come into it via one of the network cards the red interface. The modem that I am considering geting is Linksys EtherFast Cable Modem with USB module BEFCMU10.
I was wondering if anyone might have any experience with that modem or comcast.

Oh and my ipcop box is an old dell optiplex pentium 90 so it doesnt have a usb interface in it. not that i would be using that part anyways 😉
