looking at buying a spec-v....this a good deal?

whoa, been a long time since i posted on here :Q, i almost forgot about it. hehe.

anyways, ive been looking at buying a spec-v, used if that would be the best way? local place has an 02' w/ 22k...heres the link Autotrader Ad

also, would the insurance on one of these be horrid for an 18 yr old? i mean it is a sentra...but i dont know how the insurance companies look at them, right now i drive a 96' corolla.

any experiences/input/etc, plz do tell.

PS. i dont like the new 04' design, they are fugly :frown:

Yes insurance will be killer, your insurance company will see the TypeR SpecV and raise the rates like crazy.

its a good car, but I think it is dreadfully overpriced.

GET A MAZDA3!!

no where in that ad does it say spec-v.
jsut an se-r.

aren't new ones around $16k?

are mazda3's out yet?

and...its not too overpriced @ 14k even if its used...pretty quick performance...i wonder just how bad the insurance would be tho :\

I don't like the interior of the Sentra... the buttons and knobs feel very cheap and low quality... cars like the civic has MUCH better interior quality... but go sit in one and decide for yourself...

Also the SE-Rs had tons of problems when they first came out... When they dyno'ed the Spec V, it was putting out VERY low horsepower numbers, in the same range as a normal sentra...

So you might wanna look into that... I dont know if all the problems got fixed already...

new se-r's start at around 17k i believe, spec-v's are 19k+

i called and it is a spec-v :)
