Looking at buying a remote starter...

I'm looking at buying a remote starter for my gf for christmas. She has an '07 Hyundai Elantra with an automatic. I'm handy with cars so I think I'll be able to install it myself unless you guys think that would be a bad idea. How hard are they to install? Also what is a good brand? I'll need to try and pick one up locally since it's so short a time before christmas I won't have time for shipping. So if you can tell me where they sell em that would be cool too.
 
They're not hard to install, but the constant soldering/stripping/crimping from odd locations gets to be a real PITA.
