Hey guys,

I just got myself a Q6600 and wouldnt mind a 4GB ram upgrade (pref. 2 x 2GB). I have been looking at some patriot ram and OCZ a little bit also.

Basically I want solid RAM that is semi-OCable but hopefully for less than $150 and not any slower than PC6400.....any links would be appreciated! THANKS!! :)

P.S. I am in the U.S.

I hit CAS4 with mine. but only if running around 550 or so. If you want 800, it's CAS5, personally I can't tell a difference.

You'll probably hit CAS4 with more voltage.

I'm sure going to mess with mine when it gets here.

I'd recommend Mushkin and Crucial because their posted specs are pretty much guaranteed what it will do, even if it's not as impressive in the ads as the others(read: they lie, welcome to marketing - lol)

You'll want to get a level or two faster memory and underclock it. This puts less stress, heat, and voltage on them, so they give few if any errors as well. CAS3 is easily doable with good memory.
