Though I was compelled to take advantage of the $100 MIR on the samsung 215tw @office depot, the one near me sells it for $500, then the rebate, so I don't know. Is this lcd a good one? Specifically for gaming, but I would like sharp text too. Want to spend ~$300. Thanks in advance.

None of the Newegg 457 user comments answered your question? :p

I trust AT comments more than that of newegg's users, though many AT users use newegg... well, anyway. It definetly seems like a good monitor, just wanted to make sure no one's had any horrible experiences. What was your opinion again?

Ive had no experience using this monitor but i did a little research on this monitor out of pure intrest and there seems to be cheaper monitors with better image quality.
Ive not read anyone on these forums reviewing one either, your best bet is a google search.

I actually just built a system for a client with this monitor and all I have to say is good things about it. Zero dead pixels, nice and bright with easy to read text. I cant comment on gaming performance as the rig also was built using an onboard 6150 graphics chip clearly not intended for gaming. The monitor also came with a $30 rebate making it a steal at $259. I wouldn't say it is as nice as my 2005fpw due to usb's and just the over build quality of the dell versus the benq. I would still highly recommend it though as a great investment into 20 inch widescreen glory. Hope this helps.
