20k miles on it, could probably get it around $10,500

Never had a Mazda so not sure about cost of ownership and reliability.

Car was a lease vehicle.

I used to own a 2009 Rx8. Their Mazda 6 and upper models are a bit pricey but one thing I like is you can still get them in manual transmission.

Is the one you are looking at manual transmission? That seems like a decent price for the mileage. I bought the Rx 8 in late 2010, grand touring edition, 6 speed , for 19k and it had 7,000 miles on it.

Regular maintenance was cheap, I think oil changes at the dealer cost me $40. Brakes as well were not expensive, what was expensive was adding a quart of oil every other gas fill up because of the rotatory engine.

I traded it in because it was rear wheel drive and horrible in the snow. But overall I liked the car a lot.

Mazda's are pretty reliable. I know some friends that have had theirs for over 150k+ miles. Assuming you do all the required maintenance.

that is a very good price. Almost too good. Clean title?

As for value I find Mazdas to be a good deal and reliable. I've owned 4 or 5 of them and aside from rust they've been entertaining and solid.

Wow,
Recently went car shopping with younger sister and we didn't see anything approaching that price.
Especially on a 4 year vehicle with 20K on it.

Sounds like a bait and switch or a "We forgot to list in the ad the huge amount of accident damage not shown in photos....why not look over at this comparable model for 15K?"

Asking price was 12 k, I was planning on getting them down to 10.5 but they say they have more in it than the 11.9 , it has been on their lot 76 days, bought at auction and will be sold at auction if they don't sell it soon, 11.5 may be the best I can do.

It is automatic 2.5 4cyl and no accidents.

Got it for an overnight, its quite nice, very comfortable seating position and control placement.
Dropping it off tomorrow and telling them I will think about it while they determine their best price.

I'm thinking of getting one but probably a new model. I wanted to trade my rx8 for a 6 isport but they didn't have it in manual.

Is the ride noisey at all? I always found Mazda's had more features standard than other models like altimas or Honda.
