Looking at a 1996 Sentra this afternoon...

It is a 1996 4door sentra(XE i beleive) It has 48,000 miles on it, the guy wants about 3500 for it.

Going to look at it this afternoon. Anybody have any opinions on this?

i know nothing about cars, but that sounds like a pretty good deal to me... as long as it runs well.

Pretty low miles for the year. XE is the low-end model, no power windows or locks. Other than those sorts of stuff, it's the same as the GXE. There's an LE model with rear disk brakes, maybe 14" wheels. Sounds like a decent price....

Pretty good little car. Look underneath for oil leaks, cv boot condition. Check for mis-matched paint, indicating accident damage. Good luck.

Run Carfax on it. That almost seems too good to be true.
