Im not looking at buying an overclocked one but xfx , gainwood, point of view , leadtek and gigabyte all seem to be around the same price... what one should i get?

I normally run at 1600x1200 with lots of aa / af which is kinda becoming over kill for my 7800gtx.. but the monitor can do 1920x1440

Well, MSI is the world's largest seller of video cards. Maybe it's a testament to quality? (I know sheer numbers don't mean anything but it has to account for something).
A lot of people love eVga/BFG for their warranty and the step-up program(eVga). I think you can't go wrong with MSI/BFG/eVga/Asus/XFX. Get whatever's cheapest or has a better bundle. (Most people I know run XFX nVidia cards and Club-3D Radeons, if that helps. Never heard anyone having video card troubles. Only defective products I ever hear of is RAM around here.)

I have an order placed for the non-oc one from buy.com. My real question here is; whats the difference in the cooling hardware? If there both the same, cant you just oc the one? And with the heat problems with some of the 7900gtx (ok im not totally up to speed on the problems), but maybe the non-oc one would be better? I cant find any good pictures to show the difference in the two.
