Hello,

I am looking for a desktop management system which should be very user-friendly. We would prefer a open-source software for that for further customization. I have found Paragent software which seems to be looking good so far, any suggestions regarding this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Bmora
Your are right. i had checked Paragent.com. It provides fast, easy and secure Remote Desktop Management for our entire computing infrastructure from anywhere in the world. The best feature that i had seen is systems and data are secure when using Paragent as your remote control solution. Thanks for the help.

What do you mean by 'desktop management system', exactly?

Like setting default configurations and such things? There are a few that exist, depending on the desktop environment you are running...

Probably referring to something of a CMS (client management system). I manage around 1200 nodes using Altiris from symantec, its not "Open source" but its very extensible.
