Looking ahead to the 2010 Senate races.

I seem to remember Republicans saying that their chances in 2008 were not so good because they had so many seats up and that their chances looked a lot better in 2010 when more Dem seats would be up.
So I decided to see what it looked like for 2010.
Seems that the Dems have great chance to pick up seats, if you look at the individual races.

Doesn't look to be that bad for them.

Everything will hinge on what happens in the next two years though.
If Obama wins Republicans should hold or pick up seats, always happens in an off year election.

Notice how most the Red seats are grouped in the Solid south? That doesn't mean a pick up, just a hold.
Also notice the Red seats in states are normally Democratic or have swung Democratic like New Hampshire, Pennsylvania?
And Ohio has been the scene of Republican scandals for the last few years.
