Looking a inexpensive AMD3 MOBO

I’ve purchased the AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.1GHz and a GeForce GTX 460. Currently looking for an inexpensive ($150) motherboard. I’ve considered both the ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 AM3 $149.99 & MSI NF750-G55 AM3 $99.99. I’m slightly interested in OC’ing the CPU but not a big concern.

If you can find a MSI 890GX board you should be in business. I am running a 1055t 6 core and a hd4850 on mine and its great. If you are looking to stay on the cheap, I would look into the uATX boards.

I am able to OC my 2.8Ghz 6 core to 3.9Ghz with 278mhz FSB and voltage adjustments.

There's an open box at the egg right now for <$100.

I'm going cheap w\ a build for my parents. I already have an athlon II X4 620 to use and am going to buy a cpu/mobo combo @ microcenter and just sell one of the cpu's to cover the difference in cost.

I am using a gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3.

the gigabyte 880gma-ud2h looks great too.

both are inexpensive.

Newegg has the msi 770-g45 in it's email promos for $39.99 after rebate (promo code EMCYWZP35). It's a full size atx board without onboard video. With a bios update, it will even run the new 6 core phenoms and has the option of unlocking cores in the bios. You have to be registered with newegg for the promo code to work.
