Never was much into games because I never really had a cutting edge computer to handle everything. Got me one now. Don't have a joystick, and it's a pain playing the games w/o one.

Any reccomendations? Any good gaming sites w/ reviews and stuff.

Oh. Another q. Didn't they make Gran Turismo 2 for the PC? I've looked at Best Buy and CC and didn't see it. I luv it on playstation, but don't own one, and wanna play the stinkin game.

I have a joystick for you.

It's very comfortable to grip.

PS - Don't be a sicko, it's a Sidewinder Precision Pro.

I've experimented with models from CH, MS, Thrustmaster and couple others. Always keep coming back to the Thrustmaster. You can go with basic buttons or get the F-22 which allows you to reprogram all the buttons and hats and will even give you the option of giving each button double duty for different commands under different conditions.

The down side to the TM's is their cost and some people don't like the stiff feeling they have.

hope this helps.

The Extreme Digital 3D is pretty good, but I'd suggest the Saitek Cyborg 3D USB. You can essentially take the stick apart and reassemble it to fit your left or right hand, and you can program any button. It comes in both USB and Gameport models.

:)

Cool. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll hop over to CompUSA and BB and check em out tomorrow.

How's about the second part? GT2 for the PC? I know it exists, I've found reviews. But NO ONE sells it. Amazon, Best Buy, CC, CompUSA, GameSpot, buy.com, Egghead, etc etc. Any ideas.

That Cyborg does look pretty smooth. J13G for $40 at Best Buy a decent price?

Another vote for the Cyborg USB. You can even get it in the Gold edition now for the same price.

I couldn't imagine a better stick than the Logitech Wingman Force USB. Awesome for Motocross Madness 2!

How 'bout the Saitek X-36 USB stick / throttle? Any impressions?

I know it's not cheap, but I'm seriously considering getting one, and I'd appreciate any personal input . . .

Logitech Wingman 3D is the best I've used for flight sims.
I even like it better than the 3D FF that I've also got.
It's way better than the non-3D Wingman.

I love saitek's controllers, and the X-36 has gotten great reviews. I'd give it a shot if I didn't already have my Cyborg.

The thing I watch out for in a joystick controller is slop while in the neutral position. My old MS Sidewinder was quite poor for this.

Though I like the feel of the Saitek model (don't remeber which one), I bought the Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D. There is some slop, but less than all the others in the price range. And the slop that is there at least has some resistance to it. Nothing more frustrating than lining up a shot and having the aldis start tracking in some random direction when it shouldn't be.

Unfortunately, the Logitech doesn't fit my hand all that well - but nothing critical.

Trust a stoopid injuneer to weigh precision against ergonomics and have precision win out.
